Join the Greater Anaheim SELPA for an insightful workshop on how school districts identify and support students with learning differences. While "dyslexia" is a widely discussed term, public schools assess and serve students under the broader legal framework of a Specific Learning Disability (SLD). This session will clarify how schools evaluate processing differences in reading, writing, and math, explain the California Dyslexia Guidelines, and outline evidence-based strategies and IEP supports used to help students thrive in the classroom.
